
MERIDIAN, Idaho (CBS2) — The Meridian Firefighter's Association is hosting its annual Salmon BBQ fundraiser on Friday, August 4, at Julius M. Kleiner Park in Meridian.
All proceeds will go to the Meridian Benevolent Fund and Meridian Burn Out Fund, which provides immediate support to families affected by housefires in the Meridian area. Assistance includes resources for urgent shelter, food and clothing after a fire or other disaster.
Seniors will be served at 5 p.m., and the general public at 6 p.m. Tickets cost $20 for individuals ages 12 and over, $10 for children between 6-12, and children under five can eat for free. Adults will be served Applewood-smoked salmon, fries, coleslaw and rolls. Children will be served hotdogs.

- Meridian Senior Center, 1920 North Records Way.
